• PLACY® collaborated with the Hong Kong Sports Press Association (HKSPA) to organise the Sport Media ON AIR Sports Media Practical Workshop, providing participants with opportunities to explore the professional practice of sports media through a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on experience. The programme aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the diverse career pathways within the sports industry.

• Led by experienced sports media professionals, the workshop covered key areas including sports photography, event reporting, live commentary, and media production. Through practical exercises and simulated field experiences, participants gained first-hand experience of different roles within sports media while developing observation skills, communication techniques, and media production competencies.

• The workshop further strengthened the connection between sports education and the sports media profession by providing participants with valuable industry exposure and practical learning opportunities. Through diversified educational and professional development initiatives, PLACY® remains committed to supporting young people in exploring career pathways while promoting the continued development of physical literacy and sports education.
