Best Group | Foshan Exchange Visit (Warriors Tournament Observation)

Programme Detail (April 2026)

• The PLACY® team travelled to Shunde, Foshan, to participate in the opening ceremony and observation visit of the Warriors Tournament organised by Best Group. The programme included a field visit to Shunfengshan Park, providing an opportunity to gain first-hand insights into local practices in physical challenge events, youth engagement, and large-scale sports event planning, while fostering cross-regional exchange in sports and physical education.

• During the visit, the team observed the organisation and operation of the tournament, gaining a deeper understanding of how competitive elements, participant experience, and physical literacy principles were integrated into event design. The exchange also provided valuable insights into the relationships among event design, youth participation, and the educational value of physical activity, offering practical references for future physical literacy initiatives and programme development.

• The exchange further broadened the PLACY® team’s understanding of regional approaches to sports education and physical literacy promotion. By learning from diverse implementation models and practical experiences, the programme contributed to future programme design, professional collaboration, and cross-regional partnerships, supporting the continued development of physical literacy among children and adolescents.
