Introduction

Ms. Margo Ma is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She holds a Master of Science (MSc), Master of Education (MEd), and Bachelor of Education (BEd) at CUHK.

As a former Hong Kong elite Karatedo athlete, Ms. Ma achieved distinguished competitive success at the international levels. Her accomplishments include two karate 1 premier league silver medals, three Asian Championship bronze medals, an East Asian Games silver medal, and two representations at the Asian Games. She also attained a No. 4 world ranking in the Karate Premier League Annual Ranking, demonstrating her excellence in high-performance sport.

Ms. Ma is actively engaged in sports development in Hong Kong. She currently serves as a Member of the Hong Kong Paralympic Fund Management Committee, the Community Sports Committee, and the Organising Committee of the Hong Kong Games, contributing her professional expertise to the advancement of inclusive and community-based sport.
