Introduction

Ms. Mak Wai Sze Angel is a dedicated physical education lecturer at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).  She holds a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in the Sports Science and Physical Education from CUHK and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Hong Kong Baptist University.

Her qualifications include certification as a Children’s Fitness Instructor, Level I (Elementary) Coach with the Hong Kong Table Tennis Association and Junior Pickleball Coach with Shenzhen Pickleball Association.  With a deep passion for racket sports, especially table tennis and volleyball, she has accumulated more than 20 years of teaching experience in these disciplines.  She has competing in the All China University Table Tennis Championships and the World Police and Fire Games in Los Angeles, USA, where she secured 3rd runner-up in the Women’s Singles event.

Her professional background includes serving as a physical education teacher in primary school and holding managerial roles in the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and disciplined services.

In her current roles at CUHK, she is teaching required Physical Education courses and acts the coach of the CUHK Women’s Volleyball Team.
